Teach & Share
| The Northeast Chapter has some very special friends . . .
...friends such as FSG NW Chapter member Chris Hierholzer. Chris has very generously donated his time and extraordinary talent and has come all the way from Tallahassee to teach -- not once but twice -- in our DeLand studio. He's even been known to pop in during a 4th Friday to offer a free demo! "Random acts of kindness" such as Chris's really help us pay the rent at our fantastic studio. But even if you're not an experienced teacher, you still have great information and skills to share with us. Maybe you've taken a class elsewhere and can give us a demonstration of that new technique, or you've created a gizmo you can show us how to make, or maybe you're just feeling you'd like to give FSG Northeast a few hours or even a day of your time to teach a specialized technique you've mastered. We'd sure appreciate it -- and it doesn't need to cost you anything to do a good deed for us. If you'd like to volunteer, let us offer a stipend to defray the cost of travel and show you a little Northeast Hospitality! We're always looking for good teachers to hire, too. If you have a proposal for a class, let's make it happen. Our mission is to provide educational opportunities to our members, and our goal is to do exactly that -- please be our partner in meeting that goal! |
