Copper is the best metal to learn this technique, and a selection of 30 gauge and 24 gauge copper will be good choices to bring. You can often find small sheets of copper available at Ace Hardware or other building supply places -- roofing companies and scrap yards could be other local sources. To order materials online, check out www.basiccopper.com for good prices when buying in bulk -- share an order with a friend to save $ on materials & shipping. Locally, FDJ on Time www.fdjtools.com also carries metal - stop by their Winter Park showroom -- as well as your favorite jewelry supply stores. |
